Delete DVR recordings using the Xfinity Stream app

With the Xfinity Stream app, you can delete recordings from the Xfinity X1 DVR using your Apple or Android devices.

Note: You'll need to have X1 or another Xfinity TV package with cloud-based DVR service to delete recordings at this time.

Delete a recorded program

1. Open the Xfinity Stream app while connected to any WiFi or mobile network.
2. Go to the menu at the bottom of your screen and select My library, then Recordings to see all cloud recordings on your DVR.
   
   
   
   
   
3. Scroll through the recordings and tap on the TV episode or movie you want to delete.
4. Tap Record Options and choose Delete Recording to delete the program from your DVR.
5. Tap Yes for Apple devices or Delete Now for Android devices.
