The Xfinity X1 Sports Zone app provides fast and convenient access to live games, scores of all currently live games, additional coverage of the games you aren't watching and upcoming league schedules.
Learn how to view the X1 Sports Zone app while watching these live:

Open the X1 Sports Zone app
You can open the X1 Sports Zone app by:
- Pressing the C button on your remote while watching full-screen TV (not using the guide).
- Saying “Sports Zone App” into your Xfinity Voice Remote.
- Pressing the xfinity button on your remote. Then press the right arrow button until you highlight Apps on the screen and press the OK button on your remote. Right arrow to highlight Sports and press the OK button.
You’ll see the X1 Sports Zone app appear on the right of your screen.
Use the X1 Sports Zone app
- Once you've launched the X1 Sports Zone app, watch live TV while viewing the score of all games previously played and ongoing that day on the right of the screen.
- Use the right and left arrow buttons to choose the tab at the top for a specific conference or league.
- You’ll see tabs for MLB, NHL, NBA, NFL, NASCAR, NCAA football and basketball and professional soccer (select leagues) when games are in season.
- Press the OK button on your remote to pick one.
- Go through different extras by pressing the right and left arrow buttons.
- Extras include game previews, live coverage, statistics and postgame recaps.
- From the Live tab, choose a game, highlight Watch and press OK on your remote.
- This option is only available for live sporting events currently airing within your channel lineup, which will show the TV icon at the top right of each sporting event.
- If multiple live viewing options are available, you can choose your preferred option before going to the network.
- If you subscribe to X1 DVR service (and the current game is part of your subscription), highlight Record and press OK on your remote to set a recording.
- Select Current Standings for league details including games played, wins, losses, points and more.
Add teams to your list
- Open the X1 Sports Zone app and select any league tab at the top.
- Use the up and down arrow buttons to highlight the game where your favorite team is playing.
- Then, press the OK button on your remote.
- Press the down arrow button until you highlight Add to my list. Press the OK button.
- Highlight your favorite team from the teams playing in your selected game and press the OK button on your remote.
- Press the down arrow to Done and then hit the OK button.
- A notification will say your favorite was added.
Manage your X1 Sports Zone app notification settings
- Using the remote, press the xfinity button.
- Highlight Settings (the gear icon) and press OK on your remote.
- Highlight Preferences and press OK on your remote.
- Highlight Notifications and press OK on your remote.
- Highlight Sports, then press OK on the remote to turn Sports notifications on or off.
- Click Exit to finish.
Sports Voice Assistant on X1
When you say the name of a sports team into your Voice Remote (e.g., “Philadelphia 76ers”), you’ll be taken directly to the team’s live event or a schedule of their upcoming games.
To see a team’s stats, score or schedule, say the name of the team and “Stats,” “Score” or “Schedule." For example, you might say, “Phillies Stats,” “Philadelphia 76ers Score” or “Mariners Schedule."

Discover statistics using voice commands
With the Sports Zone app, get statistical information and insights using the Voice Remote. Press and hold down the Microphone button on the remote to ask about your favorite player, or for a comparison between two players.
Note: Only available for NCAAB, NHL, NCAAF, NBA and MLB games.
NFL DVR Sports Highlights
DVR Sports Highlights lets you watch highlights of an NFL football game after it ends and jump between big game moments.
DVR Sports Highlights are turned off by default. To enable, use the arrows on your remote to select Highlights on the right-hand side of the transport bar at the bottom of your screen. Press OK on your remote. (Press it again to turn it off.)
When Highlights are enabled and the program has Smart Resume, use the right and left arrow buttons on your remote to jump between game moments. Not all NFL games will have Smart Resume. Learn how to use and turn on Smart Resume.
Notes:
- Highlights are only available for NFL games after the game ends.
- Highlights are available on all X1 TV Boxes.
Xfinity Odds Zone on X1
Xfinity Odds Zone on X1 provides a new way to watch live sports, allowing you to get odds provided by popular sportsbooks on the same screen as the big game.
Note: Available for Major League Baseball (MLB), National Basketball Association (NBA), National Football League (NFL), National Hockey League (NHL), NCAA Basketball (Men’s and Women’s), NCAA Football, PGA Tour, and Women’s National Basketball League (WNBA).
