Application Locks allow you to lock specific apps on Xfinity X1. When an app is locked, you'll need to enter your four-digit Parental Control PIN before you can open it.

Enable Application Locks
- Press the xfinity button on your remote control.
- Highlight and select the Settings (gear icon) on the right.
- Use the down arrow to highlight Parental Controls and select it.
- If you've already set up a Parental Control PIN, you'll be prompted to enter it here. If not, you can set it up here or skip this for later.
- On the following screen, navigate to Application Locks.
- Highlight the application you want to lock.
- Press the OK button to toggle the lock on or off for that app.
- Repeat for any other apps you want to lock or unlock.
- Press Exit to go back to standard TV viewing, or press Last to go back to the Settings menu.
