Turn Voice Control on or off on X1

To use Voice Control with the Xfinity Voice Remote, you must ensure the feature is turned on through the Xfinity X1 Settings menu.

Note: This setting is turned on by default. If necessary, you can re-enable it by using these steps.

Enable Voice Control

1. Press the xfinity button on the Voice Remote.
   • Note: For remotes with no xfinity button, press the Home button to access the Settings menu.
2. Scroll to the gear icon and press OK on the Voice Remote to access the Settings menu.
   
   
   
3. Select Remote Settings. Press OK on the Voice Remote.
   
   
   
4. Select Voice Control. Press OK on the Voice Remote to select On or Off.
