Manage Preferred Contact Email Addresses in the Xfinity App

Want the option of using an alternative preferred email address? You can add and manage multiple email addresses in the Xfinity app.

Add Your Personal Email Address

Your personal email address can be viewed and edited in the Xfinity app:

1. Sign in and tap the Account tab at the bottom of the screen.
2. Tap Account settings.
   
   
   
3. Tap Xfinity ID and security.
   
   
   
4. Tap Add Email.
5. Enter your email address, and then tap Continue. We’ll send a six-digit verification code to the email address you entered.
   
   
   
6. Enter the verification code, and then tap Verify.
   
   
   
7. You’ll receive a confirmation message.

Modify Your Preferred Email Address

You can change or set your preferred email address in the Xfinity app:

1. Tap the Account tab.
2. Tap Account settings, and then Xfinity ID and security.
3. Tap the email address you want to change or set as preferred.
   
   
   
4. On the pop-up screen, tap Change email to enter a new email address or Make this preferred to set the current email as preferred.
   
   
   
   • Note: After you change your email address, you’ll need to confirm the change by entering the six-digit verification code we’ll send to the email address you entered.
