The Rules: Each week our two combatants will create separate power rankings. The ranking of the person who is voted out of the next episode will determine the number of points the players will earn. For example, if David is voted out this episode, Gabby Pascuzzi will receive six points and Gordon Holmes will receive seven points. At the end of the season, the person with the most points will be named the “Survivor: Edge of Extinction” Power Rankings Challenge Champion!
Last Week: Gabby Pascuzzi had Julia in spot seven, Gordon Holmes had Julia in spot nine. So, the current score is Team Gabby 75, Team Gordon 76.
Quick Note: Rankings are not based on who the player thinks is most likely to win. The smart strategy is to rank players based on how safe you think they are in the upcoming vote.

|1. Kelley: After a lot of talk about pilots and planes two episodes ago, the contestants have moved on to ship metaphors. It’s hard to keep up. It’s like planes, trains and automobiles, “Survivor” style.||1. Kelley: Kelley and Lauren have nerves of steel. I'd be throwing that idol at Probst immediately, overhand. And more good news for her, Aurora and Rick are stepping up as big targets.|
|2. Rick: Rick may have thought he was a piece of poop floating in the ocean, but I think he looked more like a captain watching calmly from the poop deck.||2. Lauren: Again, kudos for hanging onto that idol. However, there’s going to come a time in the very near future where you have to decide if the person who’s being perceived as “Kelley’s Right Hand” can defeat Kelley in front of a jury.|
|3. Lauren: She knows the ropes of when to speak up, when to keep quiet, when to hold your idol, and hopefully – when to play your idol.||3. Ron: When your big alliance implodes, I think there’s something to be said for just surviving the next vote. Ron did it, and now there are a ton of bigger targets. It’ll be interesting to see how he picks up the pieces.|
|4. Julie: Although I don’t think she needed to jump ship at that Tribal, I do think she ultimately did the right thing. It’s hard to tell what’s paranoia or good intuition when you’re out there, but she’s no lunatic to me.||4. Victoria: She’s always in there, getting her two cents in, but nobody seems to be too concerned with her. Add to that the fact that I have no idea what’s going to happen with the four factions (and Aurora) floating around, and this place seems as good as any.|
|5. Gavin: Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? I’d say it’s your turn to walk the plank, but I think you might be good at immunity challenges.||5. Julie: I could see Julie’s erratic play really making people who align with her nervous. Although, having a meltdown like that in front of the jury makes her an attractive choice to take to the end.|
|6. David: On choppy seas, David knows how to steer calmly into the chaos. But it won’t ever be smooth sailing for him.||6. Aurora: Aurora seems like an easy vote after the way her alliance crumbled last week. But, she could also be a valuable free agent.|
|7. Wardog: He did an excellent job rocking the boat. But will others worry he’s a loose cannon?||7. David: I remember interviewing David before “MvGX” and he was so nervous about pooping. Now look at him! Talking about it and making metaphors. That’s a character arc! Oh yeah, his game…he’s never going to be safe…but his gift is the ability to not take anything personally. He’s open to working with anyone.|
|8. Ron: He went from running a tight ship with the “Kama Strong” alliance to leaving them high and dry. I absolutely love that.||8. Wardog: Anyone who writes off the Wardog as a big blowhard is making a huge mistake. He has been key in the last two votes. People who are paying attention are going to start wanting to send him home.|
|9. Victoria: She bailed herself out of a sinking ship, but only when the tide had turned so strongly at Tribal that she had no other choice.||9. Rick: He was worried that he was number two last week, but his move was number one! Unfortunately, it also put a mega target on his back.|
|10. Aurora: When I saw everyone scrambling at Tribal, one person seemed left out: Aurora. She might be dead in the water.||10. Gavin: Our pineapple-attired friend is desperate to make some big moves. And, he might be the biggest challenge threat left on the board. Feels like a recipe for disaster. |
