ID Hits the Mark with Casey Anthony: An American Murder Mystery

‘Casey Anthony: An American Murder Mystery’ (ID)

ID has hit it out of the park with their latest true crime masterpiece, Casey Anthony: An American Murder Mystery. This week, not one but two new episodes hit our weekly XFINITY Top 20 On Demand Episodes chart, checking in at #6 and #8 for episodes 2 and 3. More impressively, the series itself sits at the top spot for our Top 20 series chart, ahead of such juggernauts as Empire, Homeland and Game of Thrones. True Crime is red hot right now as a genre, and it will be interesting to see what past case ID comes up with next to roll out to viewers and fans.

Don’t Miss: Hannibal creator Bryan Fuller is the mastermind behind the new Starz drama American Gods, premiering this Sunday night. Ian McShane stars as Mr. Wednesday, an old god who hires a former convict Shadowmoon to be his bodyguard. This compelling story follows the old gods and the new as they wage wars to stay relevant and is based on the best-selling book by Neil Gaiman.

Catch Up: Kaitlin Olson has been pulling double duty this TV season, continuing her memorable turn on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, while starring as the title character in the bawdy FOX comedy The Mick. Olson plays Mickey, who is forced to care for her sister’s rich bratty kids when things go awry. Needless to say, mothering isn’t her strong suit (more like a vodka soda). Catch up on all past episodes right here before the season finale. Binge fearlessly as the show has already been renewed for Season 2.

Hot Series: Below Deck Mediterranean follows the crew of a luxury yacht as they go on charters and are at the beck and call of their wealthy clients. Season 2 premieres next week, and although chief stew Hannah and deckhand Bobby are back, most of the rest of the crew is brand new, including a female captain. Catch up on all of Season 1 right here.

This Week’s Premieres: Genius (Nat Geo – Tuesday), Great News (NBC – Tuesday), Dear White People (Netflix – Friday), Undercover Boss (CBS – Friday), American Gods (Starz – Friday)
