“Survivor: Edge of Extinction” Power Rankings Round 4 – Lesu of Two Evils Edition

“Survivor: Edge of Extinction” (CBS)

The Rules: Each week our two combatants will create separate power rankings. The ranking of the person who is voted out of the next episode will determine the number of points the players will earn. For example, if Joe is voted out this episode, Gabby will receive eleven points and Gordon will receive eight points. At the end of the season, the person with the most points will be named the “Survivor: Edge of Extinction” Power Rankings Challenge Champion!

Last Week: Gabby Pascuzzi had Rick in spot six, Gordon Holmes had him in spot four. So, the current score is Team Gabby 31, Team Gordon 28.

Quick Note: Rankings are not based on who the player thinks is most likely to win. The smart strategy is to rank players based on how safe you think they are in the upcoming vote.

Gabby’s Score: 31

1. Ron: Ron may need to work on his poker face and fist bumping, but I love the sneaky move to check Joe’s belongings. I don’t care what other people say, that’s fair game on “Survivor.” 1. Aubry: I don’t know what’s going to go down at New Manu, but I do know that Aubry’s been around long enough to sniff out a blindside. She’ll be fine.
2. Aubry: Newbies are coming to her with strategy talk out of the blue? I have a feeling that it might be a decoy, but I’m taking a risk placing her this high and hoping she doesn’t get blindsided with an idol in her pocket! 2. Ron: Who is this wolf in choreographer’s clothing? He’s playing a two-time star like a fiddle.
3. Julie: If unassuming, quiet, sweet Julie goes home this week over someone who actually deserves to, I will pee my pants. 3. Julie: Julie and Julia are joined at the hip…I’m assuming…we never hear from them. I’m going to give them a nickname anyway…Two-li-a?
4. Julia: Maybe we can get a flashback for the first four weeks’ worth of content so we actually see what Julia’s been up to! 4. Julia: Maybe we should call you the Kama Chameleon because you blend into the background so well. Also, I hate myself.
5. Wardog: I was genuinely surprised he didn’t get flipped on in the swing vote spot, but he seems to be in the majority on his tiny tribe now. 5. Kelley: Lesu is a dumpster fire. Fortunately, you’re the one…throwing in more garbage…to…burn… I didn’t think this analogy all the way through.
6. Kelley: From being enemy #1 to being in a 3-1 majority. The Wentworth effect. 6. Gavin: So…let’s say Aubry realizes something is up and plays that idol. You seem like the least likely target.
7. Lauren: She took a risky gamble last week but now has an idol to carry her through what looks to be tear-filled days. You always have my shoulder to cry on. 7. Eric: Aubry’s idol makes it so the only people truly safe on MaNew beach are the chickens. Somewhere Sia is smiling…but we can’t tell due to the whole wig situation.
8. Aurora: Joe has a bigger target on his back than she does, so that’s good news! The bad news is I know nothing else about Aurora’s game. 8. Joe: I just can’t see your tribe taking you out until after Aurora is gone.
9. Gavin: I guess it’s a good sign that he stayed on a tribe with his closest ally, but it looks like either one of them might become a target. 9. Victoria: You’re a mover and a shaker at MaNew, but the person you’re moving and shaking against has an idol…
10. Eric: His name is getting thrown out! But is it for real or is it a ruse to get someone else out? Maybe I’d know more about his current standing if his confessional had not been interrupted by a rampant chicken. 10. Wardog: I could see Lesu going one of three ways; first, Kelley and David get sick of how hard and fast Wardog is playing the game and send him packing.
11. Joe:

Joe: *overhears Ron talking about him and Aubry as a threatening pair*

Also Joe: I really feel like I have a solid bond with Ron.

11. Lauren: Second, Wardog could be trying to get to the merge with two returning player meat shields. (Lauren’s illness isn’t helping that either).
12. David: His buddy went home and I am devastated! And now I’m scared that David is in a vulnerable position unless his tribe avoids Tribal Council, which seems… unlikely. 12. David: Or third, Wardog voting with Lauren and Kelley was him setting a definitive direction and David is the odd man out.
13. Victoria: The preview showed Victoria plotting with Aubry, who she’s been outspoken about not wanting to work with. If it’s a decoy and she tries to oust Aubry, who has an idol, the plotting and scheming might come back to bite her in the beanie. 13. Aurora: Yeah, Joe is a huge target…after the merge. Until then, they’re more likely to try to take out his right hand.
14. Wendy: It would literally be insane for me to stop placing her in the lowest spot now. Just like it would be insane for someone to let out chickens so that they can die in the Fijian jungle rather than become food. 14. Wendy: Things get pretty boring in the middle of nowhere, so kudos to Wendy for putting together a live performance of “Chicken Run.” Unless someone decides to keep her as a goat, she’s a goner.
