Spend June Celebrating the Best in Black Music

Are you obsessed with the Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac’s murders, have never seen the 1978 classic “The Wiz” or want to relive Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar’s electrifying performance at the 2016 BET Awards?

Well, you can do those things and more as XFINITY celebrates Black Music Month.

Throughout June, XFINITY will offer an array of content highlighting the best in black music, including biopics, documentaries, musicals, acclaimed TV series and the 2016 BET Awards. We will also feature interviews with So So Def mogul Jermaine Dupri and 2017 BET Awards host Leslie Jones.

In preparation for the 2017 BET Awards, which airs live on June 25, at 8 p.m. ET, we encourage you to watch last year’s awards show featuring a few memorable moments like Jesse Williams’ awesome acceptance speech when he received the BET Humanitarian Award, along with the Beyoncé and Kendrick performance of “Freedom” mentioned above.
