‘This Is Us’ Wraps Up Dominant Season at No. 1

‘This Is Us’ (NBC)

Wrapping up a breakthrough first season, the NBC drama This Is Us continues its dominant reign atop our XFINITY Weekly Top 20 On Demand list, ranking #1 once again for its Season 1 finale episode. The finale also drew series best ratings, with 12.84 million viewers.

Already renewed for a second and third seasons, this series from Dan Fogelman really resonated this TV season as more and more viewers needed their weekly fill of the Pearson family drama, as well as the antics of the Big Three. The series was so dominant on our weekly chart in fact, that it was #1 16 times out of a possible 18 weeks that it aired. The only two times it didn’t sit atop our list was the week Westworld (HBO) premiered, and the week The Walking Dead (AMC) returned. Catch up on the entire season right here.

Don’t Miss: The biggest show on television is ramping up to a big finish in Season 7. The Walking Dead has rebounded in this back half of Season 7 as Rick has rallied various groups of survivors to finally fight back against Negan and the Saviors. Sasha is being held captive, and we’re still trying to figure out whose side Eugene is on. This Sunday is the special, super-sized season finale and we know all hell is about to break loose. Catch up on the back half of the season right here.

Catch Up: It’s been a twisty, roller coaster ride of a first season for the highly acclaimed new FX drama Legion. The show focuses on David Haller, a mutant with seemingly unlimited mental and physical powers. But his world is hard to decipher – what’s real? What isn’t? One of the most visual series currently on TV, the show wraps up its first season this Wednesday. Binge and catch up on all past episodes right here. And don’t worry, it’s already been renewed for Season 2.

Hot Series: We are finally going to find out who was killed (and who did it!) on HBO’s addictive limited series Big Little Lies. Reese Witherspoon, Shailene Woodley and Nicole Kidman have been giving acting master classes every week (especially Witherspoon), and this 7-episode drama went by way too fast. This Sunday is the finale and the revelations will be coming fast and furious. The most recent episode pulled in the best ratings yet. Catch up before the finale right here.

This Week’s Premieres: Rebel (BET – Tuesday), The Amazing Race (CBS – Thursday), 13 Reasons Why (Netflix – Friday), Call the Midwife (PBS – Sunday), The Real Housewives of Potomac (Bravo – Sunday)
