Ice Cube stars in the new movie “Barbershop: The Next Cut,” but what does the actor, producer and N.W.A. rapper watch on TV in his free time?
“I’m an ESPN addict, a CNN junkie, but I’m starting to like “The Walking Dead” and s–t. I like stuff like ‘how it’s made,'” Cube told XFINITY. “‘Modern Marvels‘ and s–t. I like how s–t is built. I trip off the machines that make the s–t! I’m like, ‘Damn, who made a machine that can pick that s–t up and put it on and wrap it on that?’ That’s some f–king bomb-ass engineering!
“Even making a movie, the apparatuses they make. I’m like, ‘Damn, they made this s–t just to make that?’ And then I’m like, ‘We wasting a lot of f–king money.’ That money could be going to a lot of good people, man! What the f–k are we doing here? We need this s–t? Why can’t we do it O.G. style, flip this motherf–ker for real. Let’s go Clint Eastwood, let’s shoot this this motherf–king Burt Reynolds-style. Wasting all this money on this s–t.”
