How do you describe the new Logo game show, “Gay for Play Game Show,” premiering tonight on Logo?
First, it’s hosted by none other than RuPaul, and if you’re a fan of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” you’ll see a parade of former queens like Jinkx Monsoon, Chad Michaels, Raja and Alaska, to name a few. And, of course, you’ll see more than a few shirtless men parading around, too. (It’s a win-win for everyone, right?)
But what is the actual game? Let’s let celebrity guests Rebecca Romijn and husband Jerry O’Connell, Carson Kressley, Ross Mathews and Todrick Hall explain.
Game shows have been a staple of television as long as it has existed, but why do we love them so much? Let the stars give their opinions here:
As you’ll see from this clip, a celebrity is chosen to answer a pop culture-related question, and the contestant will either take their suggestion or go with their own answer. Here’s one regarding Britney Spears and eBay with the help of Ross Mathews.
And, in case you forgot, Jerry O’Connell was a child actor (“Stand By Me“), and that may help him in this round of the show.
“Gay for Play Game Show” airs Mondays at 10 pm on Logo.
