Quick Note: We’re going to be bringing you all kinds of “Survivor” fun this season including episode recaps, exit interviews, and Power Rankings with Jenn Brown and Max Dawson. Be sure to follow me on Twitter (@gordonholmes) for up-to-the-minute news and info.
The Rules: Each week our three combatants will create separate power rankings. The ranking of the person who is voted out of the next episode will determine the number of points the three players will earn. For example, if Keith is voted out this week, Max and Jenn will each receive three points and Gordon will receive six points. At the end of the season, the person with the most points will be named the “Survivor: Second Chance” Power Rankings Challenge Champion.
Last Week: Jenn and Gordon had Ciera in spot seven. Max’s Blue Collar buddies had her in the first spot. Max and Jenn had Fishbach in spot nine. Gordon had him in spot eight. So, the current score is Team Jenn 116, Team Max 113, and Team Gordon 107.
Important Note: These rankings are not based on who is most likely to win the entire season. Players tend to rank the players based on their safety in the next episode.
Jenn’s Score = 116

| 1. Jeremy: Dude played one of his idols for not him, which I think was an incredibly dumb move. Never, ever play your idol for others unless your name rhymes with a cheese. However, he still has an idol, everyone still loves him and he still has the numbers. He hasn’t even won a challenge but it’s like he cannot lose.
||1. Kelley: Things move fast in “Survivor: Second Chance.” One week you’re on the bottom, the next you’re casting spells that annihilate the best-laid plans of nebbish Wizards and guys who played college football. It’s not the magical idol in her pocket that makes Kelley powerful – it’s the fact that she’s summarily eliminated the opposing alliance’s figurehead and chief strategist while simultaneously rallying floaters like Abi and Keith to her side.|| 1. Kelley: Stephen’s gone and Joe got a couple of votes. Does Joe think both of those votes came from Stephen? Probably not. So, right now Joe probably trusts Kelley and Spencer the most. So, between her newly found alliance strength and her newly found idol, Kelley is like the original NES – she’s playing with power.
| 2. Kelley: Like I’ve said before, I like this chick. She’s sneaky, manipulative, and also has an idol, just like Jeremy. However, I don’t think she’s in AS good of a position as Jeremy is, so that’s the only reason she’s #2 and not #1.
|| 2. Spencer: Spencer’s two biggest rivals in the game were Stephen and Joe. Last week he eliminated one and saved the other. I’m calling it right now: this week he takes a page from Tony’s book and circles back for Joe. Side note: wouldn’t it be amazing it Tony wrote a book?
|| 2. Jeremy: You voted for your main meat shield and your brain shield was the one sent packing. If you didn’t have that spare idol you’d be way lower on this list.
| 3. Keith: Keith is still hands down my favorite.
||3. Keith: Henh henh henh henh henh henh henh henh.|| 3. Kimmi: Oh really, “Survivor” editors? Stephen and Kimmi are best friends? Thanks for the heads up. Those little surprises are making ranking this season a nightmare. Anywho, there are bigger fish to fry at this point.
| 4. Abi-Maria: I haven’t seen much from her strategy-wise lately, but I’ve loved her comments about the other players. I don’t think she’s next, but I don’t think she’s long for the game.
|| 4. Abi-Maria: I keep thinking that at some point everyone is going to reach the end of their ropes and decide that they can’t stand to play another day with Abi. Wouldn’t it make everyone’s life easier to just get rid or her? Think about it: everyone sticks around for another round and doesn’t have to worry about being called “Poopy Pants” or “Debbie Downer” or being told to “Get over it!” Abi has become an integral part of Kelley’s game. That’s good for Abi, but is it good for Kelley?
|| 4. Abi-Maria: Stephen claims his pants were completely poop free. But, that’s exactly what someone with poopy pants would say.
| 5. Spencer: I loved his betrayal against his fellow “Survivor” nerd. However, I think it was dumb to not vote out Joe the second you got the chance. I mean, at this point Joe cannot win the game because there’s just, zero strategy there, but still. Get rid of him so MAYBE other people will have a chance to win stuff.
||5. Tasha: Tasha hasn’t been on the right side of a vote since Kass’s tribal council. She needs to course correct ASAP if she’s going to have any hope of placing higher than fifth.|| 5. Spencer: Lookit Spencer playing the floater role to a tee once again. He’s voted against Kelley, now he’s voting with her. He’s lining up a great speech for the final Tribal, but who’s going to take him? Jeremy and Tasha won’t trust him, and Kelley and Abi won’t want to face him.
| 6. Tasha: Mark my words, Tasha will be taken to the end because literally everyone can beat her at this point.
||6. Kimmi: Kimmi lost more than the numbers in that last vote – she also lost her Island Husband. Kimmi is definitely exposed. Fortunately for her there are two much bigger targets who still need to be taken care of before she is in real danger.||6. Keith: Who’s hand are we seeing wearing that pulse thingamabobber in this week’s preview? Is it Keith’s? Please be OK, Keith.|
| 7. Kimmi: The “Survivor” gods will never allow her in an episode for more than ten seconds. One day I hope to understand why, but for now… well.. I got nothing.
||7. Jeremy: With Stephen gone what’s to stop the remaining castaways from ganging up on JC? Jeremy’s going to need to win – or play Val’s second hidden immunity idol – to make it past this round. If he does play idol number two he’ll be a sitting duck at the next TC.|| 7. Tasha: Kimmi, Tasha, and Jeremy all voted with Stephen last week. Of that trio, one has an idol, one’s of them isn’t a challenge threat, and one of them is. I think that challenge threat is in trouble.
| 8. Joe: How did he survive that vote? Oh yeah, someone was dumb. Regardless, I still think if Spencer doesn’t do a completely dumb move (in my opinion, because Stephen was just dead in the water to me at that point. He was crying for Christ’s sake.) Joe will be gone next.
|| 8. Joe: Ever since the first challenge in “Worlds Apart” I’ve been telling anyone who would listen that the only solution to the Joe Problem is to vote him out the first chance you get. And yet somehow the Golden Boy managed to survive that last tribal without a necklace and with a voting advantage aimed at his manbun. Did Joe’s social game save him, or was he spared simply to get rid of the real threat, an advantage-wielding Know It All? Something tells me that Spencer is coming for him next…
|| 8. Joe: I’ve got Stephen saying you’ve got crazy good strategy and Ciera saying the opposite. The thing is, you’re such a physical threat, it probably doesn’t matter who’s right. You’re never safe.
