Rumer Willis and Val Chmerkovskiy are your “Dancing with the Stars” season 20 champions.
And only one member of the XFINITY.com “DWTS” Power Rankings team had them picked to win it all for nine straight weeks: XFINITY.com editor Chelsea Badeau.
Each Monday this season, Chelsea, along with fellow editor David Onda and #DWTSAllAccess host Gethin Jones, predicted which dancing duos would triumph or stumble in live competition, and scored points for how well they guessed the eliminated couples. In the final week, the competitors could score five points for correctly choosing the winner, and an additional 10 points for guessing the third-, second- and first-place finishers in exact order.
When the dust settled, Gethin scored five points for correctly choosing Rumer Willis’ win, and finished the season with a third-place total of 60 points. David correctly picked Rumer’s win, as well as Noah Galloway’s third-place finish and Riker Lynch’s second-place finish, for 15 points and a second-place season total of 74 points. Chelsea also correctly picked Rumer, Noah and Riker’s finishes to earn 15 points and a first-place season total of 76 points.
"I've had a blast doing the weekly power rankings with David and Gethin for this 10-year anniversary of DWTS," Chelsea said after accepting an imaginary Gold Mirror Ball Trophy. "All of the contestants were so talented and just fun to watch each week. Rumer and Val were my favorites to win early on in the season, and I am thrilled that they won and propelled me to win these rankings!"
XFINITY.com would like to thank Gethin Jones – who was this close to staging the comeback of the century – for his spirited competition, thoughtful predictions and behind-the-scenes peeks.
