Weekly Watchlist: ‘RHOA’ Returns for a 7th Season, K. Michelle’s Show Debuts

Plus, "Survivor's Remorse" airs its season 1 finale, Derek J and Miss Lawrence's hilarious recap of "RHOA" season 6 and other hit TV shows worth checking out this week. There's also what's hot (Lupita Nyong'o latest "Glamour" cover) and not (the HIV-positive woman who allegedly threatened to infect a Walmart worker).

I didn’t follow “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” as closely as others but I am familiar with a few of its cast members. And this includes K. Michelle, who’s new reality series “K. Michelle: My Life” airs tonight on VH1. I checked it out and am a bit intrigued because K. Michelle, a singer and reality star known for getting into it with her former cast members, is really trying not to throw punches. I know, any woman, especially a good and grown one, should know better. But, lets admit, even those who are supposedly reared properly (ahem, “Blood, Sweat & Heels” star Geneva S. Thomas) have found themselves throwing more than punches when the cameras roll. I like that K. Michelle is really trying to change how she reacts when confronted with drama (she definitely has more to lose now) and hope that her desire to check her fiery temper will inspire others. Check out the premiere episode below.

“The View.”  “Scandal”  star Kerry Washington will share deets about the show and her personal life (come back tomorrow for a recap) today at 11 a.m. ET on ABC.

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Road Trip Countdown to Season 7.” This originally aired this past Sunday and Derek J and Miss Lawrence were so funny that I think it’s a must this week. It’ll re-air Monday at 1 p.m. ET on Bravo and probably again this weekend (no time has been revealed yet).

“The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” The cast of the upcoming “Annie” film, including Jamie Foxx and Quvenzhané Wallis, will visit on Monday. Check your local listings for times.

“Hollywood Divas.”  I’m pretty much caught up on TV One’s new reality show and look forward to seeing what’s up with the ladies–actresses Golden Brooks, Paula Jai Parker, Countess Vaughn, Elise Neal and Lisa Wu Hartwell–this week. It airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on TV One.

“Gotham.” I'm still playing catch up on this one. It airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.

“Sleepy Hollow.”Yes, this is another that’s good but I’ve got to catch up on via XFINITY On Demand. It airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.

“K. Michelle: My Life.I watched the premiere and it seems that former “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star K. Michelle is really looking to upgrade her life in every way (she’s all about keeping a peaceful home). Can’t be mad a sis. Starting tonight, it’ll air Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on VH1.

“The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”  Viola Davis, star of ABC’s new thriller “How to Get Away with Murder,” will talk with Ellen on Tuesday. Check your local listings for times.

“Jimmy Kimmel Live.”  The fabulously talented Maya Rudolph will visit Tuesday at 11:35 p.m. ET on ABC.

“black-ish.” I like this show and my fingers are crossed that the writing, which is OK, gets sharper. It airs Wednesdays at 9:30 p.m. ET on ABC.

”American Horror Story: Freak Show.” We saw the (untimely) death of Patti LaBelle’s character Dora (wish she could’ve been more developed) and learned the sad origins of Twisty the (dingy) Clown. Oh, and we see Dandy (who should’ve been institutionalized) happily become a killer clown. It airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on FX.

“Scandal.” Liv got to see Jake and Fitz learned that there’s “hope” for him and Liv. Ay yi, yi. It airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.

How to Get Away with Murder.” So, it seems that Annalise will stand by her man. Or will she? It airs Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. ET on ABC.

“Grimm.”  Capt. Renard lives thanks to his very youthful-looking mother. But Nick is still without his Grimm powers? It airs Friday at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.

“Survivor’s Remorse.” The season finale airs Saturday and I’m sure it’ll keep me in stitches like past episodes. It’ll air Saturday at 9 p.m. ET on Starz.

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” The Atlanta ladies return for a seventh season following a very dramatic (and embarrassingly violent) conclusion to the sixth one. Hopefully, there won’t be any more arrests. It airs Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on  Bravo.

“The Walking Dead.” We found out Beth’s location (filled with nutcases, too–that lollipop scene was uncomfortable). She also befriended Noah (Tyler James Williams from “Everybody Hates Chris”) who got away but we saw this crew just “rescued” Carol. Yeah, ‘ish is about to get turned up! It airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.

“The Good Wife.” It seems that Cary can’t catch a break with his case and Alicia has some stiff competition in the State’s Attorney race to worry about. It airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
