Happy Wednesday mi gente— or as I like to call it, the day after “Sons of Anarchy.” I can’t believe the rampage Jax (Charlie Hunnam) has been on quite the rampage thus far. I know it’s the final ride, meaning the last season to this fantastic drama from Kurt Sutter, but I fear the body count is going to be worse than ever by the time Mr. Mayhem is done in Charming.
While I go and refresh my memory of “Hamlet,” click here to re-watch last night’s episode entitled, “Playing with Monsters.”
Have you been watching Debra Messing‘s new NBC show, “The Mysteries of Laura?” Click here to watch the premiere episode ahead of tonight’s 8pm airing of episode two entitled, “The Mystery of the Dead Date.” Online dating leads to a woman’s murder, so Laura (Messing) tries to bait the killer by using an Internet dating site and going to nightclubs undercover. She also considers getting back into the dating scene for real after Jake (Josh Lucas) finally signs their divorce papers.
If you need one more reason to watch, hottie Laz Alonso also stars.
Keep your dial (sorry did I just date myself?) on NBC for the return of “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” at 9pm. In the 16th-season opener, Benson (Mariska Hargitay) adjusts to being a foster mom to baby Noah, whose life is in jeopardy after Amaro (Danny Pino) does some undercover work linked to Noah’s deceased biological mother. Meanwhile, a new addition to the squad has a rough start.
You don’t need your remote tonight because NBC is the place to be tonight. I have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for “Chicago PD” to be back after such a huge season one finale, but I’m elated the wait is now over. At 10pm, the Season 2 opener finds Voight (Jason Beghe) under scrutiny by Internal Affairs as the Sheldon Jin (Archie Kao) murder investigation gets underway. Meanwhile, an undercover job goes awry; Burgess (Marina Squerciati) meets her new partner; and Lindsay (Sophia Bush) visits her mother.
Journalist-turned-designer Jackie Guerrido will be celebrating her birthday by visiting the “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” at 1230am on CBS.
And in case you missed Sofia Vergara‘s hilarious visit to “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” earlier this week, check it out below:
