The stars came out on Saturday as the 30th Annual Television Critics Association Awards were handed out at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.

Host Terry Crews (“Brooklyn 99“) brought his A-game with enthusiasm and excitement and special guest Miss Piggy, who sang a song with him about being a television critic. While the awards are not televised or taped, I can tell you from being in the audience as a TCA member that if anyone ever needs anyone to host an awards show, Crews is your man!

Of the many awards given out during the show, a few standouts from the winners include Logo’s RuPaul’s Drag Race,” which took home the Outstanding Achievement in Reality Programming award. Ru was not on hand to get the award but she did send a thank-you via tape in full drag regalia.

Also during the night, ABC Family’s The Fosters” racked up another award as winner of the Outstanding Achievement in Youth Programming award. On hand to accept were series creators Peter Paige and Bradley Bredeweg, executive producer Greg Gugliotta as well as stars Sherri Saum, David Lambert and Danny Nucci.
