Get your best red carpet look out of the closet and put it on tonight to watch the “World Music Awards” airing at 8pm on NBC. The annual gala is coming to you from the Monte Carlo Sporting Club in Monaco and it honors the world’s best-selling recording artists. Slated performers include Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus, Jason Derulo, Fall Out Boy and Flo Rida.
Keep your TV on NBC for “Inside the Mind of Edward Snowden: An NBC Exclusive with Brian Williams” at 10pm. Brian Williams is the first American journalist to interview the former NSA contractor who leaked private government intelligence “to inform the public as to that which is done in their name and that which is done against them.” In a preview of the interview, Snowden had some pretty shocking things to say including, “I was trained as a spy in sort of the traditional sense of the word in that I lived and worked undercover overseas—pretending to work in a job that I’m not—and even being assigned a name that was not mine.” So whether you consider Snowden a hero or a traitor, you should tune-in to hear it all from the horses mouth.
Another 10pm option is “La La’s Full Court Life” on VH-1. As La La Anthony comes back from seeing her BFF Kim Kardashian tie the knot in Europe, the fifth season of her popular reality series has returned. In the episode entitled, “Cold Mountain,” La La plans a trip to the mountains for a snowy getaway with her friends. It’s a slippery slope, however, when Dice gives the cold shoulder to La’s new assistant.
Starting next month, the new Starz drama “Power” will also feature Anthony in a supporting role. Tune in June 7th at 9pm to see all the action.
The beautiful America Ferrera will visit “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” at 1230pm on CBS. The 30-year-old is currently promoting her new film, “How to Train Your Dragon 2” co-starring Gerard Butler, Jay Baruchel, Jonah Hill, and Kristen Wiig.
