I always say everything happens for a reason. Seems that Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling’s hateful remarks could help build wealth in the black community. Both Oprah Winfrey and Floyd Mayweather have expressed interest in purchasing the LA Clippers. “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams explains where things stand for her following the brawl with Kenya Moore and “Almost Human” won’t return next year. Plus, there’s my watchlist and what’s hot (NeNe Leakes‘ new ‘do) and not (the latest allegations against Columbus Short). Enjoy!
Oprah, Floyd Mayweather Jr. express interest in LA Clippers. Well, well, well, there’s a silver lining to this Donald Sterling mess after all. “Oprah Winfrey is in discussions with David Geffen and Larry Ellison to make a bid for the Los Angeles Clippers should the team become available,” said Nicole Nichols, a spokesperson for Winfrey, in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. Newly appointed NBA commissioner Adam Silver took swift action yesterday banning LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling from the NBA for life over racists remarks he allegedly made in a recorded conversation. He also said the organization would work to get Sterling to sell the team, which is a process in itself. Aside from Oprah, boxer Floyd “Money” Mayweather has expressed interest in the Clippers. On his own, he has enough for a down payment but would need partners to own and operate the franchise. "We want to buy the Clippers and we can afford to buy the Clippers," Mayweather told the Associated Press. So it took a bigoted, insecure NBA owner to get these folks on the good foot? I'm not mad. Honestly, it's about damn time. Read more about Oprah's bid here and Floyd’s here. Watch NBC sportscaster Bob Costas explain the process to remove Sterling as an owner below.

Porsha Williams talks brawl on “The View.” The embattled star of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” talks with the ladies–and guest co-host John Leguizamo–about the altercation between her and ex-Miss USA Kenya Moore. Porsha referred to the props Kenya used-the jewel-encrusted scepter and bullhorn-as "weapons." "The scepter that she had was super heavy. It was metal and it was sharp," Porsha says, sharing that she's discussing with her attorney whether to sue Kenya. NeNe Leakes, who was just eliminated from “Dancing with the Stars,” was also there, and said, “I do feel that she was provoked.” Chile… No official word from Bravo on which cast members will return for season seven though Porsha and Cynthia Bailey are rumored no to come back. Watch the full interview below.

Fox’s “Almost Human” canceled. I had every intention to watch this show regularly but when it came down to it, other shows--“American Horror Story: Coven,” “Boardwalk Empire” and “Grimm”— took precedent last fall. And even this spring, I’ve binged on “The Following,” “The Tomorrow People” and “The Killing” in addition to viewing my regular shows. But still, no “Almost Human.” I watched the first episode or two and liked it but I generally will spend Mondays catching up on my Sunday shows like “The Walking Dead,” “Mad Men,” “Once Upon a Time” and yes, even “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” (hangs head shamefully). Truthfully, a few shows almost got the ax in my book: “Grimm,” “Once Upon a Time,” “RHOA,” and even our precious “Scandal.” If a storyline becomes too predictable (“Law & Order: SVU”–the music told me what would happen) or lame, I’m up. That doesn’t mean I won’t return, it just means I put the show on leave indefinitely. Hopefully, Michael Ealy and Karl Urban can land new gigs. Watch the latest “Almost Human” episode below or catch up here.

On my watchlist? What I’m tuning in to see and what I’ll catch up with XFINITY On Demand…
“Revolution”: Speaking of shows I haven’t seen in a while, this one, which as a staple for me, returns tonight after a month off. It airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EST on NBC. Watch it here.
“R&B Divas: Atlanta”: Fortunately, the season premiere will air again tonight. I can watch that before checking out episode two. It airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. EST on TV One. Watch it here.
The Hot List: Who/What’s Hot, Not
HOT: Oprah Winfrey and Floyd Mayweather each desiring to purchase the LA Clippers (Alright, alright, alright!)
NOT: The latest allegations that Columbus Short’s wife Tanee McCall-Short has made about him ransacking their home on Easter (I sincerely hope this brotha gets some help ASAP!).
HOT: NeNe Leakes’ new ‘do (me likey!)
NOT: Endia Martin, 14, shot by another 14-year-old girl over a Facebook dispute about a boy (Damn…).
