E! isn’t wasting anytime in getting “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” back on-air with the flurry of personal news surrounding them currently.

The cable channel announced on Tuesday that the series will begin its ninth season in January 2014, actual date to be determined. That's fast considering it just aired last Sunday's highly-watched holiday episode and the Season 8 finale in November.

At the same time, it released a teaser of the season that shows it isn’t willing to let the momentum of the family’s marital storylines go to waste.

As TheWrap already reported, E! kept its cameras rolling as the news of Kris and Bruce Jenner’s separation became public knowledge. It would explain the distance between the couple during Season 8.

Also continuing from last season, Khloe Kardashian continues to struggle with husband Lamar Odom's depression and potential addiction problems, which kept him MIA last season. One scene in the new teaser shows Lamar telling sister-in-law Kourtney Kardashian that he wants to get back into the family fold.

There is one ray of sunshine - depending on how you feel about them - with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's stadium engagement. But, she's getting on Mama Jenner's nerves as it looks like she's set up camp at the Jenner house while the Kimye McMansion is built - bonus!

Also, this is the last of the three seasons E! picked up in a package deal last year. Will the adversity bring the "Klan" closer than ever and earn them another season?
