Congratulations chicos, you've made it to the middle of the week. I've had a pretty long day so I'm thinking it might be fun to switch things up a little tonight.
At 8pm, I’m going to check-out “Embarazo Secreto” on Discovery Familia. The title really caught my attention because there are so many reasons a woman would keep a pregnancy a secret. Featured on tonight’s episode is a 40 year-old woman named Jackie who doesn’t want anyone to know she is expecting a child with her 19-year-old lover. Embarrassed by the scandal that could erupt due to their age difference, Jackie doesn’t tell her family or co-workers a word about the baby. Tessa, a 19-year-old expectant mother is also featured in the episode. She is terrified to tell her conservative parents about her pregnancy in fear that they will think she’s throwing her life away.
In preparation for the season 2 premiere January 10th, 2014, I’ll be watching “Banshee” on More Max at 9pm. The Cinemax original series tells the story of Lucas Hood (Antony Starr), an ex-con and master thief who assumes the identity of the sheriff of Banshee, Pennsylvania. While in his new role, he continues his criminal activities, even as he’s hunted by the shadowy gangsters he betrayed years earlier. Not only is the writing fantastic, but lead actor Starr is great eye candy!
What trouble are the boys of South Park, Colorado causing tonight? Tune in to an all new episode of “South Park” at 10pm on Comedy Central to find out. According to the official description, Cartman will be facilitating world peace as part of his latest prank bringing religious leaders from all over the world to witness the fulfillment of a Biblical prophecy. I’m not sure what Eric has up his sleeve, but his pranks rarely turn out the way he’d like them too.
Promptly at 11pm, I will switch over to Bravo where Katey Sagal will sit to chat with Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live.” It’s been a crazy season for Sagal’s character Gemma on “Sons of Anarchy,” so I’m hoping she has some juicy spoilers to share. Last night’s episode had me on edge the entire time! I have no idea what is going on with Tara (Maggie Siff), but now that Jax (Charlie Hunnam) knows she lied about being pregnant and was secretly planning to divorce him, there has to be some repercussions. Gemma’s secret involvement in John Teller’s murder is also out in the open after she confessed to Nero (Jimmy Smits) last night! I’m dying to know if Tara will tell Jax the role his mother played in the death of his father to get even with her. I have no idea how I will survive until next week’s episode.
