HBO comedy star Danny McBride was reportedly so impressed with Lindsay Lohan when she shot a guest-starring role recently for “Eastbound & Down” that now he wants her to star in his next project.

That’s according to this story on TMZ.com, which says McBride is eyeing LiLo for a starring role in the show he hopes to produce for HBO after “Eastbound & Down,” his current comedy, runs its course.

Lohan filmed her "E&D" guest appearance earlier this month after completing a court-ordered 90-day stay in rehab. According to various accounts, Lohan came to the set on time and performed reliably and professionally - an account that ran counter to so many other stories about her unreliability on movie sets.

According to TMZ, McBride liked working with her so much that he thinks she can play a key role in a new sitcom that he and producing partner Jody Hill are developing about a high school, probably for HBO.
