The 10 new episodes will pick up right where the Season 5 finale left off … with whatever the next incarnation of Bill Compton will be consuming a major part of the season’s storyline, along with the “Who is Warlow?” mystery that’s consuming Sookie’s mind-reading brain.

Fans can also look forward to some new faces haunting the upcoming season, including Rutger Hauer as a mysterious and surely sinister character known as Macklyn; Jurnee Smollett-Bell (“Friday Night Lights,” Tyler Perry’s “Temptation”) as activist Nancy Jannsen; Arliss Howard as Louisiana Governor Creighton Burrell, and Amelia Rose Blaire as the governor’s daughter, Willa Burrell.

If you can’t wait until summer to see the sexy supernatural freaks of Bon Temps, you can catch up on episodes from every season of “True Blood” — for FREE, even if you don’t subscribe to HBO — this weekend (through Sunday) as part of XFINITY Watchathon Week!
