Court is back in session! Lifetime is bringing “Drop Dead Diva” back from the dead.

Just six weeks after the network cancelled the legal drama, Lifetime has changed its mind and just signed a new deal with the producer Sony TV to resurrect the show, according to Deadline.

"Diva" has been picked up for a fifth season after two weeks of negotiations. No word on when production on the new season will begin or when the series will return to the network's schedule.

Part of the network’s decision to reconsider the fate of “Drop Dead Diva” reportedly came down to cost-cutting measures, with Lifetime saying at the time of the cancellation that they were open to the idea of saving the show “if Sony TV came up with a new financial model,” Deadline reports.
