The “b—-” is back.

Krysten Ritter, who starred in the title role of ABC’s cancelled sitcom “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23,” has landed on her feet.

Ritter, 31, has been signed for a starring role in a proposed new NBC sitcom called “Assistance,” according to various reports, including this one on the Hollywood Reporter Web site.

This sitcom is being adapted from a stage play of the same name about a young woman who seeks to eventually become a movie producer. In the play, as in the sitcom, the young woman (Ritter) gets a job as an assistant to a hard-charging, demanding boss.

Will Ferrell and his comedy partner, Adam McKay, are two of the executive producers behind the project, THR said.
