The set of the comedy “Two and a Half Men” seems like anything but a laugh riot, even in the post-Charlie Sheen era.

The CBS sitcom is being blasted — by one of its own stars. This time, the unhappy camper is the kid “Half” of the cast, Angus T. Jones, who says he wants off the show and is even telling people to “please stop watching it.”

The 19-year-old actor, who’s played Jake for 10 seasons (and was a first-hand witness to Charlie Sheen’s example), was headed down the same slippery slope that many child stars succumb to but has now discovered religion.

In a controversial “testimony” video (there are two parts, each about 15 minutes long) from last month, Jones is seen describing how he found God to a Seventh-Day Adventist preacher in a series posted on YouTube called the Forerunner Chronicles.

"I was on a downward trend, just kind of living for myself, really not concerning myself with family," Jones says in the video after explaining he had been using marijuana and acid, among other excesses that come from celebrities and too much money. "I wasn't using what I was given to help others. I did the stereotypical celebrity throw some money at a cause and they give you some kind of recognition."

Jones went on to say how he discovered “warmth, acceptance” … “like being hugged by your most favorite person ever,” and then he knew that he had “accepted God in my life.”

It sounds as if “Two and a Half Men” doesn’t quite fit into his new lifestyle — Jones calls the show “filth.”

"If you watch 'Two and a Half Men,' please stop watching 'Two and a Half Men,'" Jones says. "I'm on 'Two and a Half Men,' I don't want to be on it. Please stop watching it. Please stop filling your head with filth.

"People say it's just entertainment," he added. "The fact that it's entertainment, do some research on the effects of television in your brain. It's bad news."
