Two contestants were sent home Tuesday on “The Voice,” leaving coaches Blake Shelton and Christina Aguilera each down one team member. Sixteen-year-old rocker Michaela Paige and pop girl Adriana Louise were the lowest vote-getters this week, and their exits slim the competition down to a Top 10.

The results show was packed with performances, beginning with Christina Aguilera’s world premiere, with Cee Lo Green, of “Make the World Move,” for which she bared some perfectly tan skin and spent the rest of the show with a cotton candy afro. The single comes off her new album, which came out Tuesday, “Lotus.”

Next we saw a montage of contestants talking about how their lives have changed since the show has aired, Sylvia Yacoub getting marriage proposals, Melanie Martinez doing a perfect accent of an old New York lady who kissed her on the cheek, and Nicholas David getting propositioned in the bathroom for a photo.

Then Carson Daly began doling out results two at a time, starting with Bryan Keith and Sylvia Yacoub as first to safety.

Country singer Jason Aldean was up next, filling the void left by Blake’s non-country team, and sang “The Only Way I Know” with the help of Dez Duron and Bryan Keith.

Cee Lo, who had a busy night, was up again, performing "Stayin' Alive" in an Elvis wig, along with his team members. A few safety announcements later, Blake took the stage with his team to do "Life is a Highway."

The final elimination came down to Melanie, Cody Belew, Adriana and Michaela. The former were safe, the latter were sent home.

"Thank you for being everything I could have wished for and more," Adriana told coach Christina. In response, Christina said Adriana still "has yet to show the world how amazing she truly is."

Holding back tears, Michaela said of her coach Blake, “Honestly the moment that he turned his chair around for me, I know that I won.”

About Michaela, Blake said, "I love this little girl so much and this is her first stab at this thing. She's going to be a star."

Blake added: “Her big old Mohawk is going to be walking across the stage at the Grammys.”
