There’s no denying bombshell Pamela Anderson has star power, but truth be told, she isn’t exactly in the same league dance-wise as her competitors on this season’s “Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars.”
Anderson came in sixth place on Season 10 of “DWTS,” while nearly every other contestant competing on Season 15’s “All-Stars” edition was either a winner, a finalist or a runner-up (yes, even Bristol Palin).
So just how did the “Baywatch” babe end up on “DWTS: All-Stars”?
"I don't know, I guess I'm a lot of fun," Anderson smiled, when xfinityTV recently interviewed her. "I'm kind of the underdog," she admits.
“But I also think I bring different things to the table, where my perspective is a little different — I love playing the characters,” says Anderson, who’s paired this season with Irishman Tristan MacManus. “Dancing may not have been my strongest point, but I love performing.”
That means she'll have to use a different strategy to counter-act the superior physicality of the athletes or the natural rhythm of the boybanders. Yes, her sex appeal is one of Anderson's not-so-secret weapons.
"I really want to work on the romance and the sensuality [of the dances]," Anderson says. "I want to make every performance very special and unique and put my heart and soul into it because I really resonate to the songs and the chemistry between my partner and me."
"I plan to experiment and just go crazy and go wild, because guess what, I have nothing to lose!" Anderson says.
“DWTS All-Stars” premieres Monday, September 24, at 8/7c on ABC.
