Beverly Hills Cop” may be making one more move to sunny California.

A new report states that Eddie Murphy is teaming with “The Shield” creator Shawn Ryan and Sony Pictures Television in a bid to bring the 80s movie to the small screen, according to Vulture.

Murphy played the memorable Axel Foley in the films, and would serve as executive produce alongside Ryan if the project moves forward as a show.

The series would follow the adventures of Foley’s son in Beverly Hills with Murphy then making appearances in his old role.
