‘Big Bang Theory’ Star Kevin Sussman Promoted to Series Regular

With Howard (Simon Helberg) in space for several episodes when the sixth season of “The Big Bang Theory” premieres, it leaves room back on earth for someone else to get some storyline.

So saying, Kevin Sussman, who has been recurring as Stuart, the owner of the comic book store where Leonard (Johnny Galecki), Sheldon (Jim Parsons), Raj (Kunal Nayyar), and Howard drop by on Wednesday nights to pick up the latest comic book releases, has been made a series regular, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

No Time Off From ‘Big Bang’ For Mayim Following ‘Horrible’ Accident

Sussman, who the trade magazine reports will appear in seven to 13 episodes, becomes the third cast member to get promoted from recurring to regular. The previous two were Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik.

“The Big Bang Theory” premieres its sixth season on Thursday, Sept. 27 at 8/7c on CBS.
