Bristol Palin’s Reality Show Pulled From Prime Time

Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp (Lifetime)

Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp” may be on life support.

After a dismal debut, Lifetime has bumped “Bristol” from its Tuesday at 10/9c time slot, according to The Wrap. The network is pushing the docu-series back to 11/10c and airing a repeat of the hit show “Dance Moms” in the prime time 10 p.m. slot instead.

“Bristol” bombed in the ratings with the first episode, premiering June 19 to just 726,000 viewers and a 0.2 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic.

That’s a far cry from the kind of ratings Bristol saw during her run on “Dancing with the Stars”; by comparison, her mother’s TLC reality show “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” debuted to 4.96 million viewers in 2010.

“Life’s a Tripp,” which chronicles 21-year-old Bristol’s journey as a young single mother, got a thrashing from critics and has also been tripped up in controversy, generating two separate lawsuits.
