UPDATE: A representative for Kardashian denies that the show has been cancelled, telling People that “It’s just on hold now while schedules are figured out. It will depend on their schedules, as Lamar’s basketball schedule is a priority.”
Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are quitting their E! reality show “Khloe & Lamar.”
This second season of the "Kardashians" spinoff will be the last. Odom reportedly wants to focus on reviving his career and making a comeback in the NBA.
As recently reported, Odom, 32, was dumped from the Dallas Mavericks earlier this month, and the distractions caused by filming the show was partially to blame.
Viewers will still get a dose of Khloe and Lamar on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” since the reality TV family has just re-signed with E! for three more years.
They may be losing “Khloe & Lamar,” but the E! Network has plenty of new projects both in the works and ready to launch for a major expansion of their original programming. This summer look for reality fare such as Clint’s wife, “Mrs. Eastwood & Co.” (May); Nigel Lythgoe’s latest music series “Opening Act” (July); and “Married to Jonas” (August). There’s also a weekly talk show on the way from comedian Whitney Cummings and even a new scripted series … inspired by “The Wizard of Oz.” For more on E!’s plans to refurbish the network, click here.
“Khloe and Lamar” airs Sundays at 10/9c on the E! channel.
