Christian Slater still can’t catch a break.

Fox is pulling his sitcom “Breaking In” from the schedule once again.

Repeat episodes of Zooey Deschanel’sNew Girl” will now air in its place at 9:30 p.m. EST, beginning Tuesday, April 24 (which is when “Breaking In” was originally scheduled to return with new episodes).

Starring Slater and Megan Mullally, who joined the cast for Season 2, the series has continued to struggle in the ratings, averaging approximately 3 million viewers.

The remaining episodes of "Breaking In" will air at a later time - translation: it's as good as dead. This likely marks the second time the show will have been canceled; Fox first axed it last May, only to revive it in a surprise move for a midseason re-launch that has ultimately been unsuccessful.

This “Breaking” news comes just days after Fox announced renewals for “New Girl,” “Glee,” “Raising Hope,” and “Bones” for another year.
