Are we really going on 17 years since “Clueless” came out? Surprisingly — and sadly — we are, and now the people who played high schoolers in that movie are now playing parents, like Jeremy Sisto is in “Suburgatory.” Now comes word that the star of “Clueless,” Alicia Silverstone, will be reuniting with Sisto in a multi-episode arc on the freshman ABC sitcom.
TVLine got the scoop on the role, where Silverstone will be a love interest for Sisto’s character George. And while there’s no word on how this affects George’s chummy relationship with his daughter Tessa (Jane Levy), the article did mention Silverstone’s character, Eden, will affect the friendship between George and Noah (Alan Tyduk). Oh, and we’re pretty sure that it’s going to throw a monkey wrench in the slow-warming relationship between George and Dallas (Cheryl Hines) as well.
And, while both Sisto and Silverstone look great, it's going to be hard to watch them together and not pine away for our lost youth. Hopefully, the show will be funny enough for us to forget about that for a little while.
