Guest-a-pallooza! ‘Hannah Montana’s Final Season Boasts Big Stars

For ‘Hannah Montana’s’ curtain call season, starting July 11 on Disney Channel and running through next year, look for an impressive roster of guest stars to join star Miley Cyrus – including late night host Jay Leno.

Guest stars on the upcoming fourth season of ‘Hannah Montana Forever’ include Sheryl Crow, Ray Liotta, Christine Taylor (who will play star Billy Ray Cyrus’ love interest), Dr. Phil McGraw, Kelly Ripa, Leno, and the return of recurring characters Dolly Parton and Vicki Lawrence.

“We’ve had so many special guests, throughout season four, that it’s actually mind-boggling, the people that have been on week after week,” Billy Ray told reporters recently.

There will also be a tribute to the military, Billy Ray says, and a duet between he and Parton, called 'Feels Like the Right Time,' from Cyrus' forthcoming rock 'n' roll CD. He describes the military tribute episode as "extremely poignant and powerful."

"We've done a lot of really, really funny things this year," Billy Ray says. " Again, in true Hannah Montana form and fashion, a lot of heart and soul, and realism, I think, as you look at mine and Miley's lives, on screen and off screen."

‘Hannah Montana’ has had a reputation for big-name guest stars since the show’s 2006 debut. Previous appearances include David Archuleta, Ray Romano, Brooke Shields (recurring as Miley’s mom), and Larry David.
