Paying off a past-due balance doesn’t have to be overwhelming. We offer repayment plans, so you can pay off the balance in monthly installments while keeping your Xfinity Mobile service active.
Contact us to set up a plan
Chat with Xfinity Assistant. If you're eligible, one of our specialists will work with you to set up a repayment plan. When you’re done with setup, we’ll send a confirmation email that includes your payment dates and how much you’ll pay for each installment.
You won’t be eligible for a repayment plan if:
- Your Xfinity Mobile line is canceled or disconnected, or
- You had a repayment plan within the past six months that ended due to a missed payment.
Important billing information
We'll use the card you have on file for these payments. Your card on file will continue to be charged on your monthly automatic payment date for your regular monthly charges. If you make a one-time payment while this plan is in effect, that payment will apply toward your past-due balance.
To update your card on file, visit the Settings section of your Xfinity Mobile account.
Stay up to date
If you complete your repayment plan and stay current with your regular monthly charges, your service will remain active.
If you miss a payment toward the plan, you'll have four days to make a one-time payment. If you don't make a payment within four days, the plan will be canceled and your service will be interrupted.
If you don’t pay your regular monthly charges, your repayment plan will be canceled, which will result in service interruptions.
Xfinity Mobile account impacts
Currently, repayment plan details do not appear in the Xfinity app or your Xfinity Mobile online account. If you need specific details about recent payments, your repayment plan schedule or your past-due balance, refer to the emails we’ve sent or chat with us through Xfinity Assistant.
FAQs
What card will my repayment plan installments be charged to?
Installments are charged to your payment card on file with Xfinity Mobile. If you would like to use another card, it must be updated before your next installment date.
Can I add another line to my Xfinity Mobile account or purchase a new device while I’m on a repayment plan?
No. You can’t add lines or purchase new devices while you have an active repayment plan on your Xfinity Mobile account. The balance owed is still considered past-due.
I need to change my next installment date. Can I cancel this repayment plan and set up a new one?
No. Once a repayment plan is a created, changes cannot be made. Xfinity Mobile only allows one active repayment plan per account.
What happens if I make a one-time payment before my next installment?
By making a one-time payment, you can pay down the balance covered by your repayment plan. If you make a one-time payment in an amount less than the total balance covered by the repayment plan, the number of outstanding installments, or the final payment amount, will be reduced. Your next scheduled installment will not change.
