Missing payments can cause issues with your Xfinity Mobile service. Since your payments happen automatically through automatic payments, a missed payment usually just means that you need to verify the information you have on file in your account. Once your card is updated, any outstanding balance will be charged immediately, and your calls and texts should start going through normally.
Other options
You've got a couple of other options to address an outstanding balance:
- Use a different card to make a one-time payment.
- Contact us to set up a repayment plan.
Depending on how long your balance has been outstanding, your Xfinity Mobile service may be affected in the following ways:
Late fee
If your payment fails on your automatic payment date and the failed payment isn’t resolved by the end of your next billing cycle, you may be charged a late fee depending on where you live.
Partial suspension
If your service is partially suspended, you will be able to receive inbound calls, but you won't be able to send or receive texts or make outbound calls other than to 911. If you try, your call will be automatically routed to an Xfinity Mobile specialist.
Suspension
If your service is suspended, you will not be able to send or receive texts, receive inbound calls or make outbound calls other than to 911. Any attempts to make outbound calls will be automatically routed to an Xfinity Mobile specialist. When you reactivate your suspended account, you’re billed a one-time service reactivation fee per line.
Disconnect
If your balance remains outstanding, your service will be canceled, and you will lose your Xfinity Mobile phone number.
If you're all paid up on your account, your card on file is current, and your calls still aren't going through, here are a few other things you can check. You can always visit your account to see your account status.
