Give your guests access to your home network in two easy ways:

Share access to your private WiFi home network
The easiest way to provide guests access to your home WiFi is to tell them the WiFi name, or service set identifier (SSID) and password, then have them access your WiFi network as they normally would any network.

If you have the Xfinity app, you can share your WiFi name and password with a QR code that can be scanned by guests. You can also send the WiFi network name and password by text message, email, or other supported applications.
To share your WiFi name and password from the Xfinity app:
- Log in to the Xfinity app with your Xfinity ID and password.
- If you already have the Xfinity app, make sure you have updated to the latest version.
- Select WiFi.
- Select WiFi details.
- You'll see a card pop up with WiFi details.

- From the card, you can share your WiFi network name and password by having your guest scan the displayed QR code with their cell phone or tablet camera.
- You can also share this information through text message, email, or other supported applications by selecting the Share button.

Connect to an Xfinity WiFi Home Hotspot
Many Xfinity Gateways broadcast a WiFi hotspot that can be accessed by guests who are Xfinity Internet customers.
To connect to the Xfinity WiFi hotspot network, your guests can simply select the WiFi network labeled xfinitywifi, Xfinity Mobile, or XFINITY on their devices.
